Example: CCF Project Undercover Report

Background

Connecting for Children and Families runs an internal program called CCF Project Undercover. When an individual accesses CCF Project Undercover, a CCF staff member clicks on the solution (“Referral”). When “Complete” is clicked on the solution, this solution is logged as executed in the data.

Custom Report

Request

From a reporting standpoint, CCF requested:

1. A MONTHLY report
2. Total # referrals completed that month (1 column)
3. # patients who identify with the following (5 columns)
   1. Race White
   2. Race Black/African American
   3. Race Native American (American Indian)
   4. Race Asian
   5. Ethnicity Hispanic/Latino

Outcome

Based on the above request, we created an Excel report that is automatically generated monthly and also available to be run on-demand.
