Using the Dashboard
Overview
The Dashboard is the first page you’ll see when you log into ITO Health. It provides a real-time snapshot of your work — including updates on recently resolved challenges, urgent patient needs, and your personal to-do list.
The page is divided into two main sections:
- Dashboard Feed – a running thread of resolved challenges and activity updates.
- Organization Panel – a quick-access area for Urgent Challenges and To-Dos.
Dashboard Feed: Recent Updates
The left side of the Dashboard functions like a live activity feed. It displays updates each time a patient challenge is resolved — similar to a social media thread.
For example, when a team member clicks Resolve on a challenge such as “Food Insecurity” for a patient, the resolution automatically appears in this feed.
Each update includes:
- The team member’s name who resolved the challenge.
- The patient’s name and challenge type.
- A brief description of what was done to address the issue (e.g., benefit approval, emergency fund issued, or resource provided).
This running record helps the entire care team stay informed and celebrate progress in real time.
Organization Panel: Urgent Challenges and To-Dos
On the right side, you’ll find the Organization Panel, divided into two columns:
My Urgent Challenges:
Displays challenges marked with a red flag, signaling that they require immediate attention. You can flag a challenge as urgent directly from a patient’s record to ensure timely follow-up.
My To-Dos:
Lists personalized tasks you’ve created, typically within a patient note, by clicking the “+” icon. These might include reminders to call a patient, submit paperwork, or verify eligibility. You can check off items as they’re completed to stay organized.

The top of your Dashboard also provides quick metrics showing:
- Total Challenges Identified
- Challenges Resolved
- Solutions Implemented
These summary numbers give you and your team an overview of progress toward resolving patients’ social and health-related challenges. They can be toggled between "All" and "Me".
